Hurtigruten Expeditions

I was fortunate to join Hurtigruten Expeditions once again, this time on an extraordinary voyage to Svalbard aboard the MS Nordstjernen, their oldest ship, now retired from service. We began our journey in Longyearbyen, the world’s northernmost settlement of its size, and sailed north toward the remote Moffen Island, reaching 80 degrees north—an incredible milestone that few have the privilege to experience.
Throughout the expedition, I had the chance to witness the raw beauty of the Arctic and capture its wildlife in their natural habitat. We saw majestic polar bears roaming the icy shores, wild Arctic foxes, and walruses basking on the ice. The stark, icy landscapes and vibrant wildlife provided endless opportunities for capturing stunning imagery.
As a photographer and content creator, I was tasked with documenting every unforgettable moment of the journey—from the dramatic Arctic landscapes to the intimate wildlife encounters. I created engaging content for Instagram and long-form videos for YouTube, sharing the beauty of Svalbard and the unique experience of exploring one of the most remote places on Earth. Armed with my Sony A7 III and the Sony 200-600mm lens, I was able to capture both sweeping shots of the frozen terrain and close-up moments with the incredible wildlife.
This collaboration with Hurtigruten allowed me to continue blending my skills as a travel photographer, videographer, and content creator while exploring the unspoiled beauty of the Arctic.
